Coleman Patterson is a resident of Abilene, Texas and a long-time racquetball player--playing since 1982.  He has been an AmPRO Certified Instructor since 1998 and is the faculty advisor for the Hardin-Simmons University Racquetball Club.  He teaches racquetball classes at Hardin-Simmons University and has taught at Ouachita Baptist University.

Originally an outdoor four-wall player from Gainesville, Florida, he converted to playing with a ceiling (and air conditioning) while in school at the University of Alabama.  Currently an Open player, Coleman was a four-time intramural champion (two singles, two doubles) at the University of Florida and a two-time intramural champion at the University of Alabama (one singles, one doubles).  He has competed in and won tournaments in Texas, Arkansas, Alabama, and Florida.

Patterson has offered racquetball clinics in Abilene, Texas and strings racquets.
