Stroke Mechanics

There is a science to hitting the racquetball properly.  Just as athletes in golf and baseball/softball spend countless hours perfecting their form and swing to maximize their power and hitting ability, so it is with racquetball--and it turns out that the proper racquetball swing is similar in many respects to golf and baseball swings.  A proper swing will add power and consistency to your game.

Until I shoot some video and transfer it to this site, I am going to refer you to a website by Carl Moody of William and Mary College and an AmPRO instructor.

Also, Carl Moody has some great video footage of some of the top players in the world going full speed.  Click here to go see those clips.  Awesome!

**Racquetball instruction has made it to YouTube thanks in large part to the folks at Racquetball Warehouse and John Ellis.  They've got some great instructional videos--check them out!**
